Cynthia Obrero graduated from Manila in the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2000. Throughout the course of her career, she has specialized in various fields of rehabilitation including community-based rehabilitation, paediatrics, orthopaedics, neurorehabilitation and musculoskeletal therapy. Between 2009 and 2018 she was the head of rehabilitation and physiotherapy in both government and private hospitals.
In order to further expand her skill set and improve her specializations, she has attended and practised both clinical and administrative post-graduate courses. She is certified as the following: cancer exercise specialist, dry needling practitioner, Mulligan practitioner, kinesiotaping practitioner, and Bobath practitioner. She completed her training and has gained experience in the Philippines, KSA, UAE, Germany, USA and Austria. She has also completed a number of research studies, one of which was published in a medical journal in Italy.
